As part of a two-year school project, special bicycles accompanied two chemistry classes at the Neues Gymnasium Bochum. In collaboration with Ruhr University Bochum, including the Chair of Materials Technology (LWT), the students built a bicycle themselves and examined its materials using modern analytical methods. The project combined school chemistry lessons with practical materials research and sparked lasting enthusiasm for science and technology.
