On November 14, 2025, the first Reuse Forum took place at the RUB event center as part of SFB 1683 “Modular Reuse.” In addition to specialist presentations and a panel discussion, there was a poster exhibition with demonstrators. The LWT provided insights into current research and showcased the wide range of concrete steels from different decades.
SFB 1683 is using an interdisciplinary team to investigate how reinforced concrete components can be removed from existing structures, tested, processed, and reused as new structures.
