Jakob Lensing, student assistant at the Chair of Materials Engineering, was awarded 2nd prize in the Dörrenberg StudienAward for his student research project on setting the martensite starting temperature. We congratulate Jakob on this success and the prize money of 2500 €.

The Doerrenberg Study AWARD was presented for the 17th time. With this award, Dörrenberg Edelstahl GmbH honors outstanding scientific work by students who use innovative ideas and sound research to advance materials technology in the fields of steel, heat treatment, surface technology or process engineering. The entries submitted reflected the high innovative strength and broad research spectrum of the young scientists.
