The Institute of Materials with the chairs of Materials Engineering (LWT), Materials Science (LWW), Materials Discovery and Interfaces (MDI) and Atomic-Scale Characterization (AC) of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering organized a public event on the topic of "Materials for Sustainable Development" as part of the RUB Sustainability Week. Thereby, the chairs presented their most important current research projects related to sustainability. In an exhibition, visitors found informative posters explaining the projects. Scientific staff presented the projects and showed exhibits illustrating the industrial relevance of the research.
