EuroPM2023

From October 1 to 4, 2023, the Euro Powder Metallurgy 2023 Congress & Exhibition (EuroPM 2023) was held in Lisbon, where two LWT staff members were present with their contributions on "Heat conduction in powder bed" and "Heat treatment simulation of PM-manufactured tool steels".

The conference, which spanned three full days and presented more than 300 oral and poster papers on the latest developments in powder metallurgy, also featured market reports from global experts, as well as workshops on scientifically and technically relevant topics, which ranged in content from powder production and consolidation technologies to various materials and applications. Tools for improving powder metallurgy were also covered, including testing and evaluation, secondary manufacturing steps, design and modeling, sustainability and life cycle analysis, health and safety, and digitalization.
The EuroPM conference is held every two years in Europe and is an important meeting place for the international powder metallurgy community to meet with suppliers, manufacturers and end users to discuss the latest innovations in powder metallurgy.
The contributions of LWT staff at this prestigious conference helped to further advance knowledge in powder metallurgy and underline the importance of this event as a platform for the exchange of knowledge and ideas in the industry.
