In July, the 12th THERMEC Conference on "Processing & Manufacturing of Advanced Materials" took place in Vienna. Over five days, more than 500 presentations were delivered on topics ranging from additive manufacturing to biomimetic materials. The LWT was also represented at the conference with a presentation on "AI techniques for microstructural characterization of PM high-speed steels" and a poster on "HIP post-processing of additively processed highly interstitial alloyed austenitic steels".
