Schoolgirls from grade 10 onwards had the opportunity to attend a summer school in materials science for the first time in June - and were allowed to try their hand at destructive experiments directly.

The Summer School in Materials Science receives funding from the Lore Agnes Programme. With the Lore Agnes projects, the RUB Rectorate has been funding innovative, promising equality measures at RUB every year since 2015. Next year, the summer school will take place again - and inspire more female students for materials research.
